RUSSIA

Kryptonite
Everytime I'm listening to this song in mp3, I'm like: "Oh, come on. This shouldn't qualify.", but my opinion always changes when I watch their live performance. Their performance always brings a smile to my face and it's just so much better than on the recorded track. That's actually kind of strange, because their vocals aren't even close to perfection, but they're just sooo cute, especially the small one. The backdrop is funny and very suitable and the choreography works good as well. This is a sure qualifier. I don't know about the juries, but televoting will totally dig this one. I'm almost sure about a TOP 10 result in the final as well.

LeBomb
Their performance is very well made and the Russian grannies can please a variety of audiences. They may not have the best voices from the competition (far from it in fact) but this performance makes up for it. The light effects and backdrop also make you want to get up and dance along with them. I cannot see how this will fail and Russia will be a very interesting winner. I must say however, the shortest grannie is what makes their song amazing and they have made a smart decision with their stage act to focus on her.

I actually like the lighting and effects during the slow part of the song. The oven is smoking, the stage is too and the lights just cut through that.
Its almost as if 6 LONG-time friends have gathered after a long day of work. They are tired but then they realize, hey, we are together we have pies waiting ...

MONTENEGRO

Kryptonite
The coat in the beginning makes the intro even creepier, but I guess that's what they wanted. So, the coat (and the beard) is OK, but I'm not so sure about the suits, which imo don't suit the song at all. It looks like they changed the backdrop a little bit, but it doesn't really matter. The song is still bad and it's probably one of few sure non-qualifiers. The vocals are pretty OK and even if they weren't, it wouldn't be a problem, because it's not the kind of song that would require pitch-perfect vocals. Performance still looks kind of messy, but I'm sure that it'll look better on TV. But hey, the song is messy as well, so it totally suits it.

MozzPoor Rambo and poor Montenegro team: it looks like the Euro crisis has hit Montenegro hard too, because they just can't seem to bring the song in a somewhat attractive way. I love satirical songs about important stuff, but this performance just kills the entire meaning for me. I have so many ideas (not even really difficult or expensive) about what they can do on stage, to deliver the message of the song. Instead we have ...
